Access for persons with reduced mobility
The closest public transport stop, Löwenbräu tram stop, is barrier-free for visitors with limited mobility. The tram stop is approximately 75 metres from the barrier-free access to Limmatstrasse 268 and approximately 100 metres from the main entrance to Limmatstrasse 270.
The entrance most suitable for visitors with limited mobility is the side entrance to Limmatstrasse 268, via a lift.
The entrance most suitable for visitors with limited vision is the main entrance to Limmatstrasse 270, via steps.
Parking Lot
To access the step-free entrance from the parking lot, visitors should leave the courtyard via the same entrance as they drive in, turn left and left again to reach Limmatstrasse. The step-free access to Limmatstrasse 268 is approximately 100 metres along on the left hand side.
A staircase with 14 steps leads to the Löwenbräukunst main entrance (Limmatstrasse 270). The accessible entrance is at Limmatstrasse 268; all levels of the building are accessible by lift and all the galleries are wheelchair accessible.

Sustainability
Why we need to act
Through sustainable measures, Löwenbräukunst aims to make a significant contribution to societal transformation. The focus is on ecological priorities, with increased utilization and activation of public spaces.
The entire lighting system in the public areas of the Löwenbräukunst site has been converted to energy-saving LED technology.
Löwenbräukunst is Member of the Gallery Climate Coalition (GCC), an international network of art organisations committed to reducing the industry's environmental impact.
GCC’s primary goal is to facilitate a reduction of the sector’s CO2e emissions by a minimum of 50% by 2030, as well as promoting zero waste.
Location and infrastructure
We obtain 100% of our power from renewable energy sources. The photovoltaic system on the roofs of Löwenbräukunst produces more than 1,200,000 kWh of electricity a year, an amount that covers the needs of our house and neighbors.
Catering
For catering, Löwenbräukunst relies on regional and organic suppliers. With LOI bistro, the food on offer in house for staff and visitors is entirely vegetarian and vegan.
Partners
Wherever possible, Löwenbräukunst works with partner companies that practice sustainable and fair production methods.
For our Löwenbräukunst beers we work with the local brewery Erusbacher & Paul. During the construction of their new brewery, great importance was attached to resource-saving operating processes and energy-saving measures. As one of the leaders in the industry, over 99% of all beers are filled in environmentally friendly returnable containers.
MUSEUMSNETZ Zurich
Museum tours made easy: Launch of the "Museumsnetz Zurich" campaign
The city of Zurich wants to make its diverse museum landscape more visible. Today marks the start of the two-year "Museumsnetz Zurich" campaign. At 36 tram and bus stops, floor signs and signs pointing to the "Museumsnetz Zurich" will be installed.
The floor signs contain a QR code that leads to the
Museum Network website. The website provides a quick overview of Zurich's museums
The website provides a quick overview of Zurich's museums, helps you to plan your individual museum visit and generates a suggested route if you are travelling by public transport.
