CINELöwenbräukunst Screening

Screenings are free to attend. No advance booking necessary.
This event is part of the CINELöwenbräukunst series.

As part of the exhibition “Gardens of Dreams” and as part of the CINELöwenbräukunst series, we are showing the film “Albrecht Schnider - was bleibt” by Rita Ziegler. The documentary from 2019 accompanies the Lucerne artist for three years in his Berlin studio and shows how he seeks the power of a pictorial moment from the gesture of drawing that withstands his critical gaze and remains. It deals with core questions of the artistic working process: opening, creation, evaluation.

The film (in German and Swiss German with German subtitles) lasts 75 minutes. It will be followed by an artist talk with David Khalat, director of Edition VFO, the artist Albrecht Schnider and the director Rita Ziegler.
