14. JUNI 2020: NEUERÖFFNUNG BODY ARCHIVE PROJECT

HBSC IRL

Noëmi Ceresola: until 14 June 2020
Stella: 19–28 June 2020
Esther Hunziker: 3–12 July 2020

Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

HBSC IRL is a three-part exhibition program featuring three artists. Body Archive Project experiments with the transformation from the virtual exhibition format back to physical space.
This allows for reflection on the experiences of recent months as well as the potential and limitations of the virtual exhibition space. An installation by Noëmi Ceresola will be on view until 14 June. This will be followed by a presentation of new works by Stella starting on 19 June. Among other things, these address the special qualities of the space at Limmatstrasse 268, with its display window-like appearance. The series will end with Esther Hunziker. She programmed and designed the interface of the online exhibition, which you can still visit virtually at any time here.

8 May 2020 Body Space Archive's online exhibition

The Body Archive Project will soon open its next exhibition at Löwenbräukunst. Until then, you can visit the virtual exhibition Hard Body Soft Core.
This group exhibition curated by Doris Dehan Son and Simon Marin aims to reflect virtual space as an exhibition space—a discourse that is of course highly relevant at this moment, when seemingly everything is shifting to the virtual realm. The interface was designed by the artist Esther Hunziker. It plays with the peculiarities and limitations of a perception that is limited to screens. Click here to experience the exhibition.
