Education
Educational programs for schools, families, and interested individuals
School classes, families, and interested individuals are welcome! Three exciting museums in the Löwenbräukunst Art Center invite visitors to experience art up close: Kunsthalle Zürich, Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst and Museum Haus Konstruktiv.
Each museum has its own programmes designed specifically for different age groups – from daycare centers to primary and secondary schools to vocational and middle schools. There are also suitable offerings for groups with special needs.
This allows everyone to decide for themselves which exhibition or workshop experience suits them best – and discover the diversity of art at the Löwenbräukunst-Areal.
Kunsthalle Zürich – Studio Kunsthalle Zürich
How does an idea transform into art and ultimately into an exhibition? How can I understand and interpret art? Is it possible to build bridges to my own everyday life? How does art and its history relate to our present?
Participants at Studio Kunsthalle Zürich explore these and many other questions in workshops, tours, artist talks, seminars, and special programs. Answers are sought by encouraging families, children, and schools to engage actively and in a variety of ways with their environment. The content of the programs is based on the exhibitions, so that new perspectives are constantly brought into play.
Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst
The aim of the Migros Museum für Gegenwartskunst is to use innovative educational formats to create a connection between contemporary art and the personal everyday lives of visitors. Art is brought to life—based on the respective artistic practice of the exhibiting artists, the Migros Museum of Contemporary Art's art education program offers a wide range of formats, from guided tours and digital educational programs to special workshops.
Museum Haus Konstruktiv
What does a line have to do with movement? How many colors does a work of art need? Can a circle tell a story? Museum Haus Konstruktiv is a unique place to experience constructive-concrete and conceptual art. From Sunday workshops and city walks to inclusive tours entitled “Gemeinsam anders” (Different Together) and Neon Nights, the diverse educational program at Museum Haus Konstruktiv opens up spaces for exchange, creative experiences, and inspiration—for curious minds, creative people, and anyone who wants to discover and experience art.
